Highlights of Opticheck® Paper Inspection System
- Seamless integration, unmatched accuracy: System is installed on the sheeter machine or paper line for real-time quality assessment before the paper leaves the mill. A high-resolution, high-speed line scan camera scans the moving web, detecting dirt, streaks, holes, foreign materials, and even insects.
- Efficient reject mechanism: Easily interfaces with the machine PLC and reject gate. When a defect is detected, the system raises a signal to reject the faulty sheet from the stack. For web systems, the reject signal can also be integrated with ink marking or tabbing units to ensure only flawless paper reaches customers.
- Optimized for paper manufacturing lines: Can be installed at the pope reel to precisely localize defects on each reel. This data can be used for post-sheeting adjustments, optimizing production and minimizing waste.
